Timberwolf 5K (2nd in my age group)

Hey, I ran the Timberwolf 5K at the local high school on Saturday. I ran a good race and placed 2nd in my age group, my first time earning a medal. I guess there are some benefits to getting older.

Denny's Surf City Marathon

Denny competed in the Surf City Marathon on Feb 7th. He finished in 3 hr 48 min, a new PR. It was a little rough in the last ten miles, and I was telling myself I'd never do this again, but like all good runners the misery quickly faded from my memory and I started looking forward to the next race. We're heading up to San Francisco this summer for a half marathon over the golden gate bridge.
